Professor Street on why his office was bugged: "The story as I understand it, and I probably paid less attention to this than you might imagine ... They put some video thing in somebody's house. They heard a whole bunch of stuff about drugs ... and Ron White. They used that as a basis for tapping Ron White's phone. They concluded that when Ron White talked to these various people, he would come to the mayor's office. They said, 'If we put a bug in the mayor's office, and Ron White goes over there, we can find out.' They were supposed to not listen, generally. They were supposed to only listen when Ron comes. I think it's pretty pathetic."
